RE: Best Ever Grilled Chicken

try getting a zip lock bag putting chicken breast ( butter fly them ) pour in Italian salad dressing in the bag with about 4 table spoons of lemon pepper seasoning ( buy the lemon pepper at BJ's ) let it marinate all night then cook them on the grill. You will love them.

RE: Well its that time once again

Early this year we bought an RV lot on the west coast in Florida. We did it for many reasons but now with the price og fuel. It feels even more of a good choice we love the place , leave the trailer over there all the time. And if we even want to go else where we can. But for now all we need to do is drive the car and save on fuel. I know its not for everyone but it works for us now with the fuel.

RE: Repairing inside slide seal

Not sure about yours but mine takes two sided rubber tape for it. But all you will be doing is to glue it back on. If the seal is still good should not be a problem. Talk to an RV shop they might have the right glue for it.I had to replace mine on the outside and it is the same as the one on the inside

RE: Leaving Trailer Plugged In

It does not hurt the battery to keep it plugged in. You just have to check the water. Its better for the battery too makes sure its fully charged and you will have longer battery life.

RE: My new to me 5th wheel

I leave mine plugged in and the battery connected. It does not hurt to leave it plugged in at all.As a matter of fact it is better for the electrical appliances to be on then not. Just have to make sure you check the water in the battery at times. It you let the battery go down then charge it over time it will not last as long. As for the water boiling out it does not boil it evaporates.

RE: Where did it come from?

Mine was leaking and I could not find the leak so I peeled back the seal on the inside enough to look at the out side seal and thats when I saw daylight. Went outside and found a seal that was cracked up top once I got on the ladder it was easy to see.

RE: Do you leave your TT pluged in?

I keep mine plugged in at home. For most of the same reason some have said above. To keep the fridge cold and charge the battery. But to me its like owning a boat if you do not use it for sometime it starts to go bad. So I like to have the fridge working more then anything else and I keep the AC up high so it comes on very little

RE: longest motorhome / trailer combo

Heck there is one question that was not asked or said. And it goes with the old saying " if you have to ask you can'y afford it" Who wants to pay the bill for fuel for that puppy?

RE: Places to avoid

I can go to just about any state any where and find a place ( or places) to stay away from. Just to say Jacksonville is a bad place is like saying Texas is a bad place to go too. Its not the state or the city its a certain area or place in the state or city. But like one person has stated if the area looks bad keep driving. Just know where your going and ask around. Heck I live in Miami and you gotta know how bad it is here ( want them to keep thinking that way too LOL)

RE: Slide problem

Not sure if this is the type of slide I have but here is the web page. http://norcoind.com/bal/products/oem/accuslide/index.shtml My cable broke, I replaced it myself it was a lot of work and took me a while to learn how to adjust it. You did not say if one side is out more or what. But if it is like mine at all this is what I would do. I had to do this to mine. Put is all the way out. When it is out all the way and not adjusted right it will sag down . I took a jack on the outside with some wooden blocks and raised the outside( from the middle outer side)with the jack so it is level. make sure the slide is all the way out on both sides top and bottom. If not loosen the cables that hold that side in or out. Now that the slide is all the way out check the cables they all should be just a little slack. But since you have been messing with them it might be better to loosen them all up then tighten them just enough to take up the slack. After that is done take the jack off from outside and try the slide. Unless there is another problem it should work better and then make finer adjustments from there. You have to learn which buckle does what to understand how it works The web page has a video and it is very usefull Hope this helps at least a little bit

RE: Buying an RV lot

They have prices all over the spectrum there. Its one of those right place right time. I would love to have bought the one for 100 grand but had a hard time with that amount. Perfect spot great lot. But in the end the one I got will be just as nice after I fix it up and do some landscaping and some concrete work. As for how I found it. My wife's boss bought one wife a dock for 100 grand a few years ago and he just bought one on the water. We went there to camp and fell in love with the place. Star I am sure you can get one for that price to if you wanted too. There still is a few that might be willing to sell at that price. I am going there this weekend and will take pictures of the place and my lot. I want to do before and after pictures when i finish it.
